Faculty Workshop Day 2013 — Engaging Our Campus Community— is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Our keynote presenter for the event is David R. Katz III, Professor of Political Science & History and Coordinator of Faculty & Staff Enrichment at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY
Professor Katz is responsible for organizational development at Mohawk Valley Community College. He has mentored faculty and staff on pedagogical, motivational and leadership issues at community college campuses across the country, at national educational conferences, and has presented to public and corporate audiences. Beyond his keynote, David will also be offering a concurrent workshop on Emotional Intelligence, Efficacy & Success.
A full-event workshop entitled Teaching for Understanding/Backward Design: A Hands‐On Introduction will be offered by Linda Ryder and is applicable to the CET Teaching and Learning Certificate.
