The winter clothing drive for the area’s refugees was quite successful.
The campus community donated several coats (for adults and children), boots, linens and various housewares. These donations are invaluable for people who arrive from much warmer places to our wintery climate, bringing with them only what they can pack in a suitcase.
Thanks again to all who donated. The need is always there – more arrivals are expected in the coming weeks. Please keep the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (Albany Field Office) in your thoughts when recycling clothing and household goods.
