The college’s 16th annual Viking Challenge: A Game in Trivial Pursuit was held on Wednesday evening, March 14, with 11 local high schools sending teams:

Cobleskill-Richmondville
Lansingburgh
Maple Hill
Middleburgh
North Warren
South Colonie
Tamarac
Troy
Waterford-Halfmoon
Watervliet
The winners were:
First Place — Maple Hill
Second Place — Bethlehem
Third Place – -South Colonie
The first-place school received a Netbook donated by Lenovo and each of the team members received a $500 scholarship to attend Hudson Valley.
All members of the three winning teams also received scientific calculators donated by Vice President Jim LaGatta and each of the three teams received Encyclopedia Britannica Reference software donated by Mark Welcome of Interactive Solutions.
