The Giving Cup Competition
The Giving Cup is an annual competition among the academic and student services departments on campus to raise donations and awareness of the college’s food pantry (http://www.hvcc.edu/studentactivities/pantry.html).
Smaller departments are allowed to team together for a shot at the cup.
If you’d like to be involved, please contact Kit Haynes at 629-7690 or k.haynes@hvcc.edu.
To participate
- Collect food donations within your department/organization
- Tabulate your food items weekly and email Kit Haynes to receive credit (count each item in a box, for example a 6-pack of juices is worth 6 items)
- Deliver items weekly to the Food Pantry in the Student Activities Office (CTR 210)
