2018 Meritorious Service Awards and Pinning Ceremony is Friday, Dec. 7

Everyone is invited to attend the 38th Annual Meritorious Service Awards and Pinning Ceremony. It will be held on Friday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium. This year’s festivities include a live musical performance by Gary Cellucci of our ITS department and greetings from President Ramsammy.  A reception will be held in the BTC Meeting Rooms immediately following the ceremony.

This event recognizes outstanding members of the classified staff of the college, the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center, and the Faculty Student Association (non-NTPs), who are nominated for the award by members of the campus community. The committee is pleased to announce that three of our colleagues have been selected to receive a 2018 Meritorious Service Award.

Please join us in congratulating:

Dominic C. Herald, Custodial Supervisor I, Physical Plant Office
Sara E. Marozas, Program Assistant, Registrar
Lisa M. Poli, Program Assistant, Dwight Marvin Library

The annual ceremony also commemorates service to the college with pins awarded for every five years of employment. Please check the list of service pin recipients here: 2018 Service Pin Recipients.  If you are attending to receive your pin, please RSVP to Tara Bocketti at (518) 629-7184 or by email at t.bocketti@hvcc.edu.

We also are collecting non-perishable items for the college’s food pantry, so please bring what you can to the ceremony.

This is a wonderful celebration to kick off the holiday season.  We hope to see you there!
