The Distinguished Alumni Awards were established to honor Hudson Valley Community College alumni who have distinguished themselves within their career fields and communities.
This year’s recipients are Dr. John Halpin, a celebrated clinical professor of chemistry at New York University; George Hermina, a successful international law attorney, and Dr. Brenda Robinson ’01, a leader in the effort to remove healthcare disparities in the region.
The awards will be presented on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 9:30 a.m. in the Siek Campus Center. A Distinguished Alumni breakfast is scheduled as part of Homecoming Weekend. Please contact The Foundation for more information: foundation@hvcc.edu or (518) 629-8012.
