2023-24 Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research Announced

Congratulations!

Aden L. Haas is the recipient of the 2023-24, Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research for the paper, “Causes and Effects of Deteriorating Political Discourse,” submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition, under the direction of Joshua Kohan, an assistant professor the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department.

Second-place winner is Leah Grace Barcomb for the paper, “What are the effects of diet on adolescent mental health,” submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition, under the direction of Sara Kennedy, assistant professor in the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department.

Hass and Barcomb will be recognized in the commencement program and on a perpetual plaque in the Dwight Marvin Library Learning Commons, and will receive an award administered by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.
