On Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, a contractor will be on campus to replace the switchgear that powers Fitzgibbons Health Technologies Center and the Parking Garage. The work was scheduled to occur when the college is closed.
It is anticipated that there will be no electricity in Fitzgibbons Hall and the Parking Garage from 7 a.m. Friday, April 18, until 7 p.m. Saturday, April 19. If there are any unforeseen delays, the contractor will be back on campus on Monday, April 21, to finish the work.
All critical systems, such as security, fire alarms, sump pumps and the morgue cooler, will be powered by a generator during this work period.
