On Thursday morning, Oct. 26, Hudson Valley and the Center for Economic Growth held a press conference in the Manufacturing Lab of the Lang Technical Building to announce the creation of the new Manufacturing Technology Pathways program. Students enrolled in the program will earn local credentials that will allow them to qualify for entry-level manufacturing jobs or continue their education with an intensive boot camp.
The Manufacturing Technology Pathways program is made possible through a SUNY Workforce Development grant and matching funds from the New York State Workforce Development Institute, along with support from local businesses and organizations such as the Center for Economic Growth a many industry partners, including Simmons Machine Tools.
