Albany Business Review’s “2017 Best Places to Work” and more!

One of the powerful resources available to students and faculty is the Albany Business Review, a full text online edition of the Capital District’s weekly business newspaper featuring latest breaking business news and the annual Book of Lists.

This week’s Business Review surveys the Capital Region’s 2017 Best Places to Work, which include tech startups and law firms that are just a few years old, as well as major regional employers that have been around for decades.

Last week’s edition reported on the relationship between higher employment and lower enrollment at community colleges, and quoted President Drew Matonak on this inverse economic pattern faced by community colleges.

The Dwight Marvin Library actively subscribes to more than 100 authoritative research databases, online sources, thousands of media sources and maintains over 70 subject guides — all accessible to students and employees on and off campus.
