The seventh annual Pumpkin Palooza brought over 800 families and friends from our campus and the community to the McDonough Sports Complex on Oct. 26.
What’s becoming known as “the community halloween party,” the day began with the pumpkin launch in front of the Administration Building, followed by the pumpkin decoration contest in the Campus Center, and concluding in the evening with plenty of fun and games, apple cider, and lots of candy, in McDonough.
Gratitude is extended to the Student Senate for organizing an engaging event for members of the college and local communities. Costume-garbed children were entertained with games, Mazzone’s refreshments, face-painting, prize drawings, music, balloon artistry, pumpkins, clowns, dancing, magic, photos, a train ride and much more.
The community outreach by the Student Senate included assistance from Eileen Maloney, Alfredo Balarin, Justin Hoyt, Carrie Farley, Andrew Fuda and many volunteers.
See you next year!
