The Voices: A Library Lecture Series committee is pleased to “Climate Change and Climate Justice in New York” on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. in the BTC Auditorium.
The impacts of climate change are felt throughout the world. New York is working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions resulting from burning fossil fuels. Communities are developing their own resilience plans to mitigate the impact created by worsening heat waves, storms and floods. Eleanor Stein, J.D., LL.M in Climate Change Law at the Albany Law School, presents our state’s initiatives to address climate change.
