Men’s Basketball (4-8) head into the winter break after dropping both games last week. The Vikings fell on the road at No.5 Onondaga, 88-66, on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The men’s team also dropped a close match at Tompkins Cortland, 73-66, on Sunday, Dec. 10.
Men’s basketball does not return to action until Jan. 9 when they travel to play Columbia-Greene Community College at 7 p.m.
Women’s Basketball (7-4) entered the week receiving votes in the national poll following a 7-2 start to the season. The 7-2 start is the best start for the women’s basketball team since the 2002-2003 season. The women’s team dropped both of its games this week, falling 77-57 at Onondaga on Dec. 6 and 75-68 on Sunday, Dec. 10 at Tompkins Cortland.
The women’s program is back on the road this Wednesday, Dec. 13 as they travel to face Springfield Tech at 7:30 p.m.
