The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Nov. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:
l. Middle States Update
Nothing new to report. Michael, Jim, and Margaret will be attending the annual Middle States conference, Dec. 6 – 8.
ll. Advisement Assessment – update – Student survey is out
Student Advisement Satisfaction survey – Student survey has been sent out. Close to 200 surveys have been completed.
DC Advisement Survey – is complete and will be sent out soon.
Advisor Satisfaction Survey – complete and will go out shortly
Dean’s Survey – Dr. Geehan reiterated that this would be accomplished as a focus group. However after brief discussion, it was decided that it would go out as a survey since there would be no anonymity with a focus group.
III. Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Committee Charge – Core Indicators
Agreement was reached on several changes to Core Indicators.
Goal 2.4 – change frequency of data collection to every year from every three years.
Goal 3.2 – Pluralism – International Students – remove
Other Core Indicators will remain as they were.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.
The next AIE Committee will be on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. in ADM 130.
