The announcement on Jan. 24 that Cypress Creek Renewables and Hudson Valley Community College’s Workforce Development Institute are partnering to launch a new solar job training initiative in New York State attracted local media attention.
Local elected officials and college leaders joined Cypress Creek representatives during a presentation in the BTC lobby to announce the company’s $25,000 investment that will help provide reduced course fees for students interested in solar job training, with a focus on bringing more women, veterans and underrepresented people into the industry.
