Due to the forecast for heavy snow, the Poetry Out Loud recitation competition for regional high school students is postponed to Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium. (It originally was scheduled for Feb. 7.)
The campus community and public are welcome to attend! Light refreshments will be served.
Scott Hathaway, chair of the Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media, will host the event. Judges will be Noah Kucij, Many Panza, Roseanne Raneri and GG Roberts. T.J. Mullen, an architecture student at Hudson Valley, will be scorekeeper.
The winner and runner-up will move on to the state finals to be held in March in Syracuse, NY.
