Ash Wednesday is Feb. 14 and marks the start of Lent, 40 days in which Christians spend time “spring cleaning” their lives, making an effort to “dust off” and renew their faith.
St. Michael the Archangel Parish, located at 175 Williams Road just south of the college campus, has two opportunities to receive ashes:
— 7:30 a.m. Prayer Service with the distribution of ashes
— 12:10 p.m. Mass with distribution of ashes
