LEAD@HVCC: The Impact and Importance of the Mid-Term Elections on Monday, Feb. 19

“The Impact and Importance of the Mid-Term Elections” will be the topic of discussion at the next student leadership development workshop scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 in the Student Leadership Conference Center,  Campus Center 202 (formerly the Club Corner).

Professor Robert Whitaker and Professor Allan Joseph, both from the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department, will talk about the history of the mid-term elections, what it means, what’s at stake, and the impact it can have on the influence of presidential leadership.

The workshop is part of a year-long series of the Lead. Educate. Achieve Develop at Hudson Valley Community College (LEAD@HVCC) sponsored by the Student Activities Office. The weekly topics include leadership development skills workshops and critical conversations that debate some of the day’s current issues.

The campus community is encouraged to attend. For more information, please contact the Student Activities Office 518-629-7348.
