On behalf of the Hudson Valley Community College athletics department and the college community, we would like to say thank you to all those who joined in on the fundraising effort for Viking men’s basketball student-athlete, Justus Simon.
As a result of everyone’s participation, we were able to present Justus and his family with a check for $7,472 to go toward his cancer treatment.
Moments like this are not only what makes Hudson Valley a beautiful community, it makes us a family. Hudson Valley Community College, the athletics department, the men’s basketball team, the Foundation and the Simon family all sincerely thank you for supporting this initiative and providing Justus with the will to fight.
It takes a village, and together we will continue #FighingForJustus.
