Performance by Dr. Li Zhang, soprano, today at noon

Recognized as an outstanding soprano, Dr. Li Zhang is a voice professor and chairperson of the Department of Opera and Chorus at Sichuan Conservatory of Music in Chengdu, China. She was the featured soprano of the 2012 Prague New Year’s Concert for the Czech president and his country’s key leaders in the Czech Republic.

Among her other credits are First Soprano of 2011 New Year’s Concert, China; First Soprano invited by China National Grant Theater for solo recital in Beijing; and First Soprano to perform at the Great Hall of People (Chinese White House). She was the leading role of Shanghai Opera House in 2001.
