Men’s and women’s bowling participated in the National Sectionals Tournament over the weekend in Stratford, N.J. The men’s team placed 15th overall out of 22 teams with a total score of 11,287 and finished ahead of local rival, Schenectady by 42 pins. The women’s bowling team placed 17th with a total score of 10,244.
Men’s lacrosse (2-0) did not play last week and are scheduled to play at home twice this week. The Vikings will host Brookdale on Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 4 p.m. and host Union County on Saturday, Mar. 17 at noon All of the lacrosse games are scheduled to be livestreamed online at http://athletics.hvcc.edu/Vikings_Broadcast_Network/VBN.
Baseball (0-0) is scheduled to kick off the 2018 season on Saturday, Mar. 17 when the team travels to play a doubleheader against Westchester Community College beginning at 1 p.m. The baseball team is scheduled to play its first home game on Tuesday, Mar. 20 against Ulster Community College at 3:30 p.m. at the Joe Bruno Stadium.
