2018 Albany March For Science on Saturday, April 14

 

The 2018 Albany March for Science will be held Saturday, April 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the West Capitol Park in Albany. This will be an official sister march of the National March for Science happening in Washington DC on the same day. This year’s Albany March is being organized and sponsored by CapSci.

This year, CapSci will feature:

“Meet a Scientist”
Poster Making
Live Music
Speeches from Local Scientists

• Dr. Gina C. Gould, Evolutionary Biologist and President of miSci and the Dudley Observatory
• Dr. Ashok Ramasubramanian, Storyteller and Professor of Engineering, Union College
• Dr. Steve Leibo, Climate Change Communicator and Professor of the Humanities, The Sage Colleges
