Matt Howe, academic advisor for Liberal Arts and Sciences, was named to the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Webinar Advisory Board for a two-year term (2018-2020).
Web Advisory Board members assist the Executive Office with development of the annual Web Event series topics, recommend/recruit potential presenters for webinars, make recommendations for changes or improvements in the process or the delivery, assist with ideas/content for marketing (such as blog postings), and review digital recordings of past webinars for determination of posting to YouTube or retirement.
Matt Howe was appointed to the Web Advisory Board as a result of his outstanding contributions presenting for past NACADA webinars. Please join me in congratulating Matt on his appointment and representation of academic advisors at Hudson Valley Community College and NACADA.
