The recent Physical Plant survey produced a great deal of feedback on our custodial services. Some were very pleased with and complimentary about the level of services you receive. Others were disappointed.
Some of the negative comments were spot on and we need to do a better job in a few areas. But I felt that some of the disappointment was based on expectations and a misunderstanding of our capabilities. Therefore, attached here is Physical Plant’s standard level of service to be provided by custodians here on campus. We want to be held to this standard and told when we are not meeting it. Based on current staffing levels, we really cannot do more.
Please continue to let us know the good and the bad. We will strive to meet this level of service and expect our customers to hold us accountable.
