Clean Technologies and Sustainable Industries Early College High School Information Night is Thursday

The Clean Technologies and Sustainable Industries Early College High School Information Night takes place Thursday, March 21 at TEC-SMART in Malta.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, the event was postponsed due to the weathers.

This information night is an opportunity for parents, students, school administrators and teachers to learn about the Ballston Spa Central School District and Hudson Valley Community College partnership program that allows students in grades 11 and 12 to take TEC-SMART classes in addition to regular high school classes and earn up to 22 college credits. Since beginning two years ago with Ballston Spa, the program has been expanded to several other school districts in the Capital Region.

Students gain knowledge and skill sets necessary to make informed college and career decisions about the clean technology field. The program features a blended form of learning that infuses direct instruction with authentic experiences and research to provide students with foundational knowledge in the emerging technology fields.
