Inventor® – Introduction
September 10 – September 26, 2018
Mechanical design is more than parametric modeling! Autodesk Inventor® mechanical design and 3D CAD software offers professional-grade 3D mechanical design, documentation and product simulation tools. Autodesk Inventor® is used by professionals across many industries to help close the gap between design, engineering and manufacturing.
Some of the critical topics covered include:
— Background basics, including parametric modeling, files and file management
— Software interface, its toolbars, file types support, modeling navigation, saving and filing
— Drawing functions such as sketches and specific features, model dimensioning, Boolean commands, basic solids from extrusion & revolution, sweeping & blending (lofting)
— Drawing Aids, including patterns, relations and reference geometry
— Assemblies, including mating components, inserting parts and exploded assemblies
