In response to Dr. Ramsammy’s call for a renewed commitment to student retention and to ensure students meet their academic goals and engage in campus life, the Enrollment Management and Student Development (EMSD) division will offer Student Services Information Days, as well as Club Fairs & Spirit Days throughout the academic year.
The weekly Student Services Information Fairs will feature representatives from the Center for Academic Engagement (CAE), Center for Assistive and Adaptive Technology (CAAT), Center for Careers & Transfer, Center for Counseling & Wellness, and the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) to introduce their services to students and encourage utilization.
Student Services Information Fairs will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays in September at the following locations:
Sept. 5 — Siek Campus Center, 1st floor
Sept. 12 — BTC Lobby
Sept. 19 — Siek Campus Center, 1st floor
Sept. 26 — Williams Hall
The weekly Club Fair & Spirit Days will feature representatives from the Student Activities Office, Student Senate, various clubs and organizations, inter-collegiate and intramural athletics, Cultural Affairs, campus ministry, Viking Cove Bookstore and Viking Day Care Center to introduce their events, activities and services, and to encourage participation.
Clubs Fair & Spirit Days will be held 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays in September at the following locations:
Sept. 6 — Siek Campus Center, 1st floor
Sept. 13 — BTC Lobby
Sept. 20 — McDonough Sports Complex Lobby
Sept. 27 — Williams Hall
