The Lansingburgh Historical Society is pleased to announce that well-known storyteller Nancy Marie Payne will appear at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 to celebrate an early Halloween at the Herman Melville House, 2 114th Street in Troy.
Payne is a certified teacher with over 30 years experience, who has shared her stories in schools, libraries and historical societies. She is a member of the Story Circle of the Capital District. Her stories are suitable for middle school age through adult.
Refreshments will be served along with other Halloween fun.
Reservations are not required, but a donation at the door of $5 for members and $6 for not-yet members will be greatly appreciated.
