The Fall semester All College Meeting will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre.
President Ramsammy will be using a software tool called Poll Everywhere as part of his presentation, which will will allow for interactivity for both in-person and remote participants of the meeting.
We encourage those who will be attending the All College, both in person and online, to join in the discussion. Poll interactivity and responses are completely anonymous.
Here are several ways you can participate:
- Join the discussion via any Internet-connected device at PollEV.com/hvcc once the presentation begins
- Download the Poll Everywhere app, if you own an IOS or Android device. Once the presentation begins, you will be invited to join.
- Use text messaging to participate (text HVCC to 37607) when prompted once the presentation begins (data rates will apply)
Faculty and staff members are encouraged to attend the All College Meeting in-person but if they are unable to do so, they can access streaming video of the presentation at: www.hvcc.edu/internal-employees/allcollege.html.
Please note that for those who are accessing the stream on a mobile device, there will be a 40 second delay, which may impact your participation in live polling. Those streaming on a desktop will receive the feed with a delay of just a few seconds.
There will be a limited number of iPads available for loan in the lobby of the Maureen Stapleton Theatre prior to the All College Meeting for those who wish to participate but have no others means to do so. In addition, staff members from Information Technology Services will be on hand to troubleshoot any technical questions participants may have.
