The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Sept. 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:
Dr. Geehan opened the meeting at 1 p.m. with a goal of reviewing the Core Indicators (CIs) to determine as a committee which were appropriate to keep and which should be removed or modified. The following agreements were reached:
1. CI #1 – add all two-year SUNY colleges for comparison. Include regional and peers also.
2. Combine 1.3 Transfer Rate with 1.5 Transfer and job placement rate.
3. Add Schenectady to Table 2.3.2.
4. Consider a “N/A” choice for question 1.7.2 for existing employees.
Review of CIs, starting with Student Satisfaction – 2.4, will continue at the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.
The next meeting was scheduled for Sept. 25, with the following schedule for Fall 2018: Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6, Nov. 27 and Dec. 11.
