The Hudson Valley Community College Department of Athletics announces Military Appreciation Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29 beginning with a free picnic at 3 p.m. prior to the start of the Vikings football game against Army Prep at 4 p.m.
All current and former members of the United States military are invited to attend the pregame picnic under the pavilion inside Joe Bruno Stadium. All veterans in attendance will receive free admission, an American flag ribbon pin and recognition at halftime for their service to the country.
