Theresa Gil and Alice Malavasic will join 10 other writers during a Local Author Day on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble in Colonie Center on Wolf Road.
Gil, a professor in the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department, is the author of Women Who Were Sexually Assaulted as Children.
Malavasic, an associate professor of history, wrote The F Street Mess: How Southern Senators Rewrote the Kansas-Nebraska Act.
