The Center for Effective Teaching is always looking for proposals and ideas for workshops to offer faculty and staff. As outlined in Hudson Valley Community College’s Faculty Development Strategic Plan, these workshops should focus on the following certificates: Teaching and Learning, Leadership Development, and Academic Advising.
A stipend is available of up to $450 for the development and delivery of a course. If the workshop is offered again, that faculty member can receive $50 per contact hour.
