The Voices: A Library Lecture Series committee is pleased to present Stylistic Self-Expression & Your Environmental Impact with Willa Tsokanis, from noon to 12:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium.
As we get dressed each morning, we rarely consider the origins of our garments or the environmental impact of our fashion choices. Planned obsolescence is designed into fashion. Willa Tsokanis, co-founder of esa New York, will transform the way you relate to your clothes and help you learn to tailor your wardrobe so you can dress to reflect your values while honoring the environment. A non-profit organization, esa New York strives to “mend a disconnect [between the consumer] and fashion industry through the power of community, experiences and education.”
