College in the High School holds annual Faculty Development Day

Forty-Seven high school teachers attended the College in the High School’s annual Faculty Development Day held Wednesday, Oct. 24 in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center.

This event provides CIHS faculty the opportunity to come to campus, meet with their department chair and fellow faculty members, and discover resources available to them and their students.

This year our program included several presentations by Hudson Valley faculty adn staff. Andrew Roberts and Christine Smith presented on Diversity, Inclusion and Communication. The Well Balanced Teacher was presented by Toni Howard and a presentation on SUNY Open Education Resources (OER) was provided by Brenda Hazard and Valerie Waldin, along with Mike Daley and Alexis Clifton from SUNY OER. Faculty wrapped up the day meeting with their respective department chairs and/or faculty liaisons.

Thank you to all for making this a successful event!
