The college is again testing components of its emergency communications systems today, Thursday, Nov. 15 around 12:30 p.m.
Test messages will be distributed to the college’s website, Facebook and Twitter accounts; student and employee email; desktop computers on the college network, and the Alertus mobile application. Additionally, we will test the SUNY NY Alert system.
Indoor and outdoor public address systems will NOT be deployed during the test.
To download the Alertus app for emergency notifications from the college (including test messages), please follow the instructions below.

1. Organization Code: hvcc
2. Enter your email address and click “Register”
3. Open your email and click on link to confirm your account
4. Restart Alertus + mobile app and set up notifications
