The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize academic achievement of college students and to provide opportunities for them to grow as scholars and leaders.
PTK is an international honor society that recognizes academic achievement and provides opportunities for students to serve their campus and local communities. Membership with PTK is not only about the prestige of being a part of a selective honor society, it also provides students with access to numerous scholarship opportunities. Students are invited to join PTK upon earning a 3.7 GPA. Students must maintain a 3.5 Cumulative GPA in order to continue their membership.
Hundreds of Hudson Valley Community College students are eligible to join our PTK chapter this semester! Please consider helping one of them take advantage of all that PTK has to offer by sponsoring payment of their membership fee!
Please contact the PTK Advisors at PTK@hvcc.edu if you’d like to
sponsor the $80 membership fee for a prospective PTK member that simply cannot afford it.
