Dear Colleagues,
We don’t have the weekend numbers yet, but I’m confident we are fast approaching our goal of to collect 1,200 items that men and women at Joseph’s House & Shelter need most — warm apparel and personal care products. But we must keep the momentum going if we’re going to meet the goal! Day 12 is Thursday, Dec. 13.
Here’s how you and/or your department/office mates can help meet our goal:
Collect donations of these items:
New clothing – priority, winter-season items are shown in bold
- warm, heavy socks
- hats/mittens/scarves/heavy (ski) gloves
- sweat pants and sweat shirts
- long johns
- long-sleeved shirts
- men’s boxers/women’s underwear
- sports bras of all sizes
- slippers for both men and women
General and personal care products – full-size (not samples) are requested
- shampoo and conditioner, or combo like Pert
- razors and shaving cream
- deodorant for men and women
- body wash
- lip balm
- nail clippers
- wash cloths
- hand warmers
- liquid laundry detergent
- fabric softener sheets
