The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host a 10-week Embracing Diversity Training for faculty and staff beginning in February 2019. The training is voluntary and will include themes such as;
- What is Diversity?
- Microaggressions
- Implicit Bias
- Difficult Conversations
- Identity Development
Participants will review and discuss the book “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria” by Beverly Daniel Tatum. Text will be provided.

Time — 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Maximum enrollment is 15.
