Speak Off Competition
Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m.

Prepare a 3 to 4 minute original speech on the topic “Free Enterprise: Why it is Essential for Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs?”
Win $100 at the Hudson Valley Community College competition and then travel to SUNY Plattsburgh to compete against 10 other colleges for an $800 prize in the Free Enterprise Marathon. A total of $14,000 in prizes will be awarded.
Hudson Valley students usually perform well at the regional competition. This competition is open to ALL students. Teams with students from various degree programs perform best. A team of five students will participate in two events — the Speak Off Competition and the Innovation Competition.
To be eligible for the team, students must participate in the on-campus Speak Off Competition on Feb. 6 and applications to participate are due Tuesday, Feb. 5.
