New research from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation shows community college students who transfer to selective four-year colleges perform as well as—or even better than—their peers who come directly from high school.
The research is highlighted in an article in Forbes.com that says while community college transfers are achieving at a high level, they are also less likely to be courted or accepted by these schools.
