Women’s Basketball
Women’s basketball has extended its win streak to 12 straight games following a 1-0 week. The Vikings went on the road and defeated Sullivan, 67-64, in overtime! The women’s program improves to 18-3 on the season with four games remaining.
Men’s Basketball
The men’s basketball finished the week 2-0 with home wins over Adirondack, 96-64, and Schenectady, 74-67. The Vikings improved to 17-5 on the year with six games remaining.
Bowling
The bowling team had a busy week with four matches in five days. The highlight of the week was a first-place finish in the opening match of the Herkimer conference match on Friday, Feb. 1. In that match, Hudson Valley posted a score of 3,263 with Michael Taber (New Baltimore/Coxsackie-Athens) and Catherine Lynch (Troy/Lansingburgh) leading the way. Taber finished with a team-high 686 and Lynch bowled a three-game total of 684. Lynch also earned the Vikings best game with a 257 in game one.
