On Friday, Feb. 15, the Center for Access and Assistive Technology will host Epilepsy 101 from 2 to 3 p.m. in room 150 of the Siek Campus Center.
The training will be provided by the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York.
Epilepsy 101 will provide education on these topics:
- The basics of epilepsy and seizures
- Recognizing different types of seizures
- Assisting a person during a seizure (first aid)
- Identifying seizure emergencies
