Vice President MaryAnn Janosik’s drop-in Body Works and Zumba® fitness classes will continue through the Spring 2019 semester in AMZ 306 (not MCD 192). But please note the times below as revisions have been made!
Everyone is invited to join Dr. Janosik for these fun workouts that are geared for all fitness levels; you work at your own pace. All classes are free! No sign up is required, just show up! New participants always are welcome!
Body Works Plus Abs — AMZ 306
Tuesdays — 4:40 to 5:20 p.m.
This is a lightweight dumbbell workout done to the beat of the music. Burn calories as you move through a variety of exercises to sculpt and tone your body. You’ll notice improvements in your muscle tone, posture, balance and strength. A total body workout! Bring your own hand weights (or work without) plus a mat.
Zumba® — AMZ 306
Thursdays — 4:40 to 5:30 p.m.
Get ready to party yourself into shape! Considered one of the best total body workouts and calorie-burners, this internationally popular, exhilarating, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, dance fitness-party™ will move YOU! Participants do not need to be good dancers or have previous dance experience. Just come with a positive attitude and plan to have fun!
Participants in either class should wear comfortable workout clothing and athletic (cross-training or running) shoes. Bring water!
