The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Feb 26. 2019 at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes follow.
Dr. Geehan opened the meeting at 1 p.m. She guided the committee in the review of the upcoming 2019 Employee Satisfaction Survey. The goal is to refine the questions in an effort to avoid ambiguity and misinterpretation of the questions, while preserving year to year comparisons for trending.
A number of survey questions were selected for modifications by the committee as follows:
— Question #5 – Add “technical” before resources
— Question #7 – Replace “communication and” with “transparency”
Many other questions touching on communications, transparency, support and encouragement were held over pending review of information gathered in the Strategic Planning listening sessions and surveys. This information was to be revealed and made available on Feb. 27.
The committee agreed to address modification of the remaining survey questions after reviewing this information. The Employee Satisfaction Survey, usually held in February, is currently scheduled to be conducted after Spring break.
The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.
The next meeting is March 12, 2019.
Subsequent meetings are scheduled for March 26, April 9, April 23, May 7 and May 21.
