It’s that time of year again!
I will be collecting old, broken or used cell phones for recycling as part of Earth Month. I will collect phones until the end of April. Cell phones that are old and still work will go to help domestic violence victims. If you have a sim card and a power adapter with the phone you’re recycling that would be great. Any broken phones will just get recycled.
I work with a company called e-Cycle and they are a fully certified recycling company. You can view their site: e-Cycle.
e-Cycle also pays you back for recycling working phones and this money will go to the College Food Pntry. Last year we received $24.00, let’s try for more this year!
The collection box will be located in the Viking’s Cove Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Siek Campus Center. You can also send them to me in Higbee Hall 119.
Happy Recycling!
