Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, according to David Diemer, a former Army Ranger with 20-plus years of experience in combat operations, close protection and guard services, who teaches strategies for civilian preparedness. CEO of R.E.A.C.H. 29, Diemer’s experience is drawn from his military service and work with elite U.S. defense contractors. As a member of B Company 3/75 Ranger Regiment, he served in Somalia conducting high-threat missions, most notably the Oct. 3, 1993 mission chronicled in the movie “Black Hawk Down,” for which he was awarded a Bronze star.
Both programs are presented free to all by the Cultural Affairs Program.
