On Thursday, April 4, at 7 p.m., Kevin O’Connor, MSW, executive director of Joseph’s House and Shelter will speak about the history and the impact of homelessness in Rensselaer County and services available to assist persons in need.
The presentation, hosted by the Nassau Resource Committee, will be held at the Chandler Young Veteran’s Association, Lyons Lake Rd. in Nassau. There will be a “free will” basket for anyone interested in donating a monetary gift or a material gift (ex. toothpaste, hygiene item) for individuals who are homeless and poverty-stricken.
All are invited to attend, no RSVP needed.
