The Voices: A Library Lecture Series Committee is pleased to present “Talk Radio in 21st-Century America” by Paul Vandenburgh on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 1 to 1:50 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.
Paul Vandenburgh is a 24-year veteran of the radio industry. A native of Lansingburgh and a graduate of Siena College, he began his local broadcasting career in 1986. In November 2007, Vandenburgh and an investment group purchased TALK 1300-WGDJ. He currently serves as president of Capital Broadcasting Inc., as well as general manager and morning show host at TALK 1300. Vandenburgh gives a brief history of talk radio and discusses how it fits into modern society.
