Once again this year, Hudson Valley Community College is sponsoring students, staff, faculty, and invited guests to participate in the “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” event at Riverfront Park in Troy. Walk A Mile aims to support victims of sexual harassment, assault, and/or violence by means of a 1-mile walk through historic downtown Troy.
The walk begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Riverfront Park in Troy, and is FREE for any registered students, staff, faculty, and invited guests. T-shirts and a lunch will be provided for all participants.
